Giving from Your Heart, A Guide to Volunteering Dr. Bob Rosenberg and Guy Lampard Foreword by Robert K. Goodwin, CEO, Points of Light Foundation
If you have ever thought about making a difference this is a must-read. Many people have considered volunteering but they simply don’t know how to get started. In Giving from Your Heart, A Guide to Volunteering co-authors Dr. Bob Rosenberg and Guy Lampard share their expertise about the numerous volunteer opportunities available today.
Although we hear about volunteers serving their communities, until now there has not been a resource for others who want to know where to go and who to ask about a volunteer activity right for them. By inspiring as well as educating, Giving from Your Heart provides the down to earth information for anyone considering volunteering. From determining one’s desired level of involvement to establishing realistic expectations, Rosenberg and Lampard offer practical information that will help make the connection.
